Episode 29: September 26, 2009

Talked about a FABULOUS event happening this week called ZombiewalkLA. You get dressed up like a zombie, walk the streets of Hollywood while undead, and then join your fellow zombies for a screening of the new movie Zombieland at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. All for FREE! This is why we live here...Also discussed the new TV season. Found out that Jeff is an avid fan of Smallville, like any 16-year-old girl at heart. Sons of Anarchy also got two thumbs up from the guys. Gina's DVR failed to record Grey's Anatomy, but she managed to avoid a meltdown by watching it on Hulu. She's not happy that Izzie didn't die. Called out Katherine Heigl for being a jerk...Spoke with the always entertaining and brilliant Nina Bargiel about her new project, Valemont, which premieres on MTV this Tuesday. It's a web-series that's launching on television. Genius marketing move....Jason was discombobulated because there was no Wi-Fi access. He had to make due with the iPhone. The horror...Launched our tote bag contest! One lucky winner will receive a free tote of their choice from Haut Totes. These are handmade by Melissa Lewis, a stay-at-home mom. Debated whether totes are the perfect gift for women. Gina says yes, Jason and Jeff have no clue. Whaddya expect? They carry around backpacks all the time like high-schoolers.

Featured the NK Band in Soundcheck. Their music is very "islandy" as Jeff puts it. They'll make you want to grab a mai-tai and head to the beach! Check them out here.
